The Unfunny Update (pretend it's different) |
I
had some ideas for this update, but I lost my notes, so I'm left with
a bunch of pictures and some wordy things to go along with them. My
last update was pretty well-received, probably because I had
it professionally gift wrapped at Sears. I submitted a link to
Fark, and it
inspired a decent photoshop contest. Check it out
here.

I
got a new digital camera, so I took some pictures of our place
in Overland Park. It's not exactly clean enough inside to take
pictures, what with the blood everywhere. Anyway,
this is what we refer to as the front door, which we never use. It's
there mainly to make us believe we live in a miniature house in
a miniature
neighborhood. It's not that effective.
Here's
a look from the front porch towards some grass, some other apartments,
some trees, and, oh, miles of smiles.
This
is the back, which includes the garage, the back door, and the
back porch. Noticing a pattern? That's right! Everything shown
here was built with foreign labor! (Except the truck, it was built
with equal parts of magic and love.)
Of
course, no collection of pictures would be complete without a
glamor shot of one of my most prized possessions. Unfortunately,
this stupid truck parked right in front of it!
Oh,
I can't stay mad at you. Here's one picture of the inside of
our place. See that couch? It's the same one Sam Malone had in
his office, which explains why I'm sitting on the floor. Yep,
friends, that's me, everyone's favorite web dork. To those of you who
haven't seen me in a while, surprise! I'm still white!
Now,
here's a little behind the scenes look at what goes into taking
pictures for this website. In this picture, Jake is acting as my
stand-in. Sonja is so going to kill me when she sees that I let
Jake on the table. That's where she sleeps! |
This
is where I learned that my new camera makes some weird noises right
before the timer goes off. Is it just me, or are those shorts really
short? Ooh, risqué! |
On
Saturday, I drove one of these, so now I want one. Then I spent
the next 2 hours making the salesman believe I could afford it.
Sucker!
Because
I have to fill one more slot before this update ends, here is
another picture I took of it. I was close! Man,
I hate when these updates run out of steam at the end...

Finally,
I need your help. I'm going to get vanity plates in July, and I
need help deciding what they should say. So go here to make one,
and post your suggestions here. |
