07.16.04 - 1:00pm Another month has passed, and I have another spot worth sharing.

This time, it's for the Elms Resort & Spa in Excelsior Springs, Missouri.

This one obviously didn't need to be as flashy as the Chevrolet spot I did recently, but I did get to create a neat effect for the end of the spot. Click on the image at left to view it.

I made the effects in 3D Invigorator for After Effects 6.0, and edited it at work on an Avid Adrenaline NLE.

Also, Andy & John came to visit last weekend. We saw Anchorman on Thursday night, which was about as funny as I expected it to be. A little disjointed and jumpy, but still pretty funny.

In other news, I turned 26 last Friday, and am now deeply rooted in my late-20s. Ack.

06.10.04 - 1:17am This is the last time I'll mention this spot, I promise.

We finally got the voiceover recorded, so I was able to finish the first two versions of the spot, which start airing here in KC on the 14th.

I made a few changes to it since the previous version (below), but I'm happy to say that it is finally done. I would have stopped messing with it a while ago if the process had moved a little more quickly, but it did give me something to work on for a while.

It also gave me a good opportunity to learn how to use a few plug-ins, namely Shine & Starglow from Trapcode.
